| How Scanch Got Their Name |
|---|
![]() |
It is rumored that Scanch was named by a secretary working at studio somewhere, sometime. More accurately, a secretary called the band "scum" in Japanese. The precise word is 「ちんかす」 (chinkasu), quite a nasty insult in Japan. Rolly quite liked the name and decided his band WOULD be scum, and just rearranged the syllables to create 「すかんち」 (sukanchi or Scanch). |
